We describe here Fernleigh Car ParkÂ
(Spaces A-E) (all concreted land)
at the rear of 3 Marshfield Road, Goole.
Ownership:
The entire strip of concreted land across the back of the above address was acquired in 2013 as part of acquiringÂ
flats 9 & 10 (the two 'new build' flats to the rear).Â
The concreted land came 'bundled' with flats 9 & 10 and is thus now in different ownership to flats 1 - 8 (located within the main property). Therefore flats 1-8 have no ownership rights or authority to park at the rear, as the land is not part of that ownership anymore.

The rear land is currently used as an exclusive private carpark for FLATS 9 & 10 ONLY* and the flats are allocated 2 spaces each as part of their tenancy.

Contract:
This is a 'paid per week' resident permit holders only car park.Â
We currently charge ÂŁ7 per week per parking space.Â

No unauthorised parking is permitted.
*Exception: one parking space of 2.7 meters (from the west metal railed fence) may be available to signed-up tenants of Flat 3. This may be available to rent at a discounted rate. Contact us for further details. This is a good will gesture due to the location of the parking space relative to the location of the flat.
(The UK Gov Land Registry Title HS238087 "land at the rear of 3 Marshfield Road, Goole" includes both the complete rear parking strip and flats 9 & 10. The two get sold together as one under this Land Registry Title document/deed.)

You could ignore a parking ticket from a private company and get away without having to pay. But this is risky and the car park operator could take further action against you, which eventually forces you to pay. Ignoring the parking ticket could also increase how much you have to pay in the end. "
1980's
We believe, maybe in the 1980's, that Coulthard Properties of Goole (a large property owner in Goole at the time) purchased the property 'Fernleigh' 3 Marshfield Road as one very large private house. They then turned the property into 8 individual flats.Â
1993-1994
Some years later around 1993 they got planning approved and built a further 2 'new build' flats 9 & 10 in the back garden.
2004
Internal transfer of Flats 9 & 10 to another of their companies. Sold as a pair together with carpark land and not as single individual properties/flats.
2007
Moving on to 2007, Coulthard Properties decided to sell flats 1-8 but retained the two new build flats 9-10 and all the land at the rear. As they owned the complete property at the time, it was easy for them and a good idea to retain the complete rear concreted section which adjoins Flats 9 & 10 and which is now the 5 space carpark A-E.

Properties sold
2013
In 2013 due to retirement and a winding down of their property ownership, Coulthard Properties sold Flats 9 & 10 together with all of the rear land to Red Congo Properties. After this Coulthard Properties had no stake left at this address. With no listing on the net due to them being sold as a pair together with carpark land and not as single individual properties.
Please note: Flats 1-8 are now under completely different ownership to that of Flats 9-10 as explained.Â
